Kraków
Kraków is a major Polish city of about 800.000 inhabitants, situated on the Vistula River, in the South of Poland. It used to be Poland's capital until 1596 and still is a major cultural, scientific, technological, and industrial centre. Kraków is a site of numerous higher education institutions covering all branches of science, humanities, medicine, technology, and arts. This city is also widely known for its theatres, museums, and other monuments.
The Old Town of Kraków has been declared a world heritage treasure by UNESCO.

Wieliczka Salt Mine
The “Wieliczka” Salt Mine is one of the most important monuments in Poland. Each year it is visited by more than one million tourists from all over the world.
It is also a world class monument and one of twelve objects on UNESCO’s World Cultural and Natural Heritage List.
Today, the “Wieliczka” Salt Mine is a place where centuries of tradition meet the modern world, the history of the mine goes back hundreds of years, it is a vast, complex underground metropolis.

Kraków is situated on the West-East A4 motorway that provides links to the European motorway network. The conference venue can be reached by using any exit to "Kraków-Centrum" then following the signs to "Old City" ("Stare Miasto"). Radisson Blu is equipped with an underground parking (10 PLN/hour, 80 PLN/day, first 20 minutes free).
